Time flies.  So far, I am doing o.k. with the 14mg patch.  I
yesterday, so although I did three paintings, I wasn't really
"feeling it".  Saturday evening I did my first panel:

                     Brain Waves
               24 x 24 Wood Panels
                   Acrylic on Wood

I like how it turned out.  I plan to do at least 3 more before
the event on the 17th.  I am doing an average of 3 paintings
a day; I really hope I can unload them.  Compared to the
prices I saw on Saturday, I will be offering mine for cheap!  I
am going to hold onto a small collection that I feel would be
appealing to "Asheville-ians" to hopefully place in area
businesses.

only problem is that it is sometimes hard to concentrate due
to the presence of a very talkative small child.  I know that
his parents don't want to miss church, and maybe they can't
afford child care.  The problem is that this little boy is VERY
distracting!  Yesterday he literally ran up to the front of the
room, chatting the whole time.  We are going to have to get
there earlier.  We like to sit in the back - it just feels more
comfortable to have as much physical space as possible.
There has been a larger than usual attendance (which is
great) so "our seats" have been taken [they literally set out
our seats for us, which is very thoughtful].  Yesterday we had
to sit right in front of the child.  He was playing with toys,
chatting away, and I had to plug one of my ears to strain to
hear what the Reverend was saying.  The congregation is very
understanding about him, but at what point do you have to
consider the greater good of the group?  We can't possibly be
the only ones who are distracted by this little boy.  It's a
small church, so every little sound is very prominent.  If I
were more involved in the church community, I would most
certainly bring it up.  Given that we are relatively new, and
don't know the group outside church, I really don't feel that it
is my place to draw this matter to the church leadership's
attention.
