We moved to the Asheville, North Carolina area
"Land of Sky" in July. It's so nice to get away
from the congestion of Northern Virginia. Seeing
the mountains from your front porch can really
put life in perspective.
Other driveway. We have a drive-in basement
(we use the garage as art studio space), which
is really helpful when the weather is cold. No
worries about scraping ice or getting snow off
the truck. Gotta love those 1970s houses!
We actually have goats as neighbors. Wild.
I took this one while sitting on the porch swing.
It's the tree you can see in the first pic up top. I
wanted to get a sense of how tall it is, and the
sky was so blue, just decided to get a picture.
Sunrise at Big Cove Road. It is SO beautiful here.
And yes, I took the picture. Those who know
me may not believe I got up before the Sunrise.
